For us, artificial intelligence is not about adding a shiny layer on top of any process. It is about integrating it with common sense and feeding it with reliable data that is well-defined and connected to the reality of each organization.

That is why we continue to bet on a foundation that we believe is essential: unifying data, improving its quality, working with common criteria, advancing in digital standardization and interoperability, and building solutions from there that truly help to decide, automate, and improve processes.

This certification gives us momentum to continue developing our own way of accompanying companies and organizations, and to continue betting on useful, accessible technology with real impact.

It was a very special edition, also because of everything that was generated around the event. Eva María González Vior appeared in several media outlets, such as La Opinión de A Coruña and La Nueva España, sharing the history and spirit of Datola; and Brais Calvo appeared on the radio show Lambóns Dixitais to talk about community, data, and outreach.

In addition, we presented one of Datola's most exciting internal projects: an exercise in data unification and gamification to better understand the participation of the people who are part of the community. You can watch the full presentation here: La Datolada 2026 - La Dársena y el Dataporte.

During the session, we explained how we went from having information scattered across tools like WordPress, MailerLite, Spotify, GA4, WhatsApp, or the ticketing platform, to building a first common layer to organize that data, detect duplicates, activate segmentations, and give back to the community a part of its own history.

From there, La Dársena was born, our internal backoffice to manage and unify data, and the Dataporte, a more playful way to recognize the participation, content, attendance, and bonds that are being generated around Datola.

Beyond the technology, what was important was the substance: sharing, opening up processes, also showing what doesn't turn out perfectly, and continuing to build community. Because data, artificial intelligence, and automation only make sense when they help to better connect people and take care of the projects we want to last.

This way of understanding community connects a lot with what drives us at nosDeu and with something we repeat often: going to events matters, because many times the best ideas are born precisely there, among conversations, encounters, and people eager to share.

During the session, we played with manipulated charts, misleading scales, biased headlines, and real-life examples to open up conversation, debate, and question how we consume data in our day-to-day lives. A mix of outreach, humor, and critical thinking that we thoroughly enjoyed sharing with the community.

For us, these types of spaces are important because we deeply believe in sharing knowledge, in making data something more accessible, understandable, and human, and in the value of community. Many of the most beautiful things that have happened to us professionally were born precisely like this: around conversations, events, and people eager to learn and build together.

For several days, we shared conversations, learnings, and experiences with professionals from all over the world, in an environment where networking is not a break between talks, but a central part of what happens.

Furthermore, Eva participated in a talk about the importance of attending conferences, highlighting something we sometimes forget: that going out, listening, and connecting are also part of the job.

Going to events is not just about content. It's about broadening your perspective, questioning what you take for granted, and returning with ideas you wouldn't have had in front of a screen.

Those trips that shake you up just enough to keep growing.

And although nosDeu has just started, we have been working together for years like this: remotely, with long conversations, shared decisions, and above all, trust.

There are a thousand factors that make a project work or not, but if we had to choose one, it would be how we communicate. It's the most complex thing to build and what sustains us the most.

We are among those who believe that talent should not depend on the postal code. That creating, solving, and innovating is totally feasible without being at the same table every day.

nosDeu is born with that mix: remote to have freedom, asynchronous to gain focus, and in-person to strengthen what truly matters.

Because in-person isn't about routine. It's about nurturing relationships.

Yes, there is an economic cost and also a family cost. But for us, it is also a conscious way to break the remote routine and get out of autopilot.

Events are about leaving the cave, broadening perspective, and returning home with new ideas. They are about listening to nuances that don't fit on a slide. About connecting dots that weren't connected before.

They are about reconnecting with people, de-virtualizing, and meeting new ones. About conversations that suddenly unlock a problem you've been dragging for weeks.

In the end, the talks are on YouTube. Human contact, no.

We all know the downside of bureaucracy. In our case, it also has a good side: it forces us to sit down, organize, and discuss ideas. And yes, sometimes to drive 400 km to pick up a piece of paper, but, incidentally, we get together, eat, and chat.

Meanwhile, we are closing the first projects and crossing our fingers with the first proposals.

Patience, patience, we have a lot of data to chew on. 🐮

As a first action, we decided to sponsor the first Bonilista of 2026, the one about goals, which David Bonilla has been writing every Sunday for 15 years.

And since it was about that, we took the opportunity to share our goals for 2026 here:

• Non-negative results. In our first year, we aim, at a minimum, to cover expenses. No spending more than we earn.
• Avoid divorces. Neither between partners, nor with our significant others. We know that starting a business affects all areas of life.
