La Datolada 2026: data brings a community together

The fourth Datolada brought close to 250 people together in A Coruña for two days devoted to digital analytics, artificial intelligence and measurement. From nosdeu, we helped organise a gathering where the desire to learn and share was just as visible in the talks as in the conversations between them.

We also took to the stage to present an internal Datola project: connecting information spread across WordPress, MailerLite, Spotify, GA4, WhatsApp and the ticketing platform to better understand each datolista’s relationship with the community.

We shared how we began organising the data, finding duplicates and building a combined view of participation. That work led to La Dársena, our back office, and Dataporte, a space where each datolista can review their journey through the community and a first step towards gamifying that experience.

Sharing the process too

In our chronicle of La Datolada, we describe how we experienced the gathering from the inside: the preparations, the lessons learned and everything involved in building something like this as a community.

We finished exhausted after many hours of work and with emotions running high. We also left happy to have contributed to a space where sharing knowledge is a way of connecting.
